Presbyterian Women is an inclusive, caring community found in Southport Presbyterian Church.Southport Presbyterian Women are involved in the following activities:
- Provide support and charitable contributions to Barium Springs Children Home, PW Least Coin Collection, Prison Ministry, Waves for Children, and Matthew’s Ministry.
- Fundraising projects which include the Margaret Rudd Cake Sale and nut and coffee sales.
- Three circles which meet on a regular basis for study, reflection, prayer, and fellowship. The circles also provide meals for the families of residents of the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
PW Morning Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month at 9:45am in Fellowship Hall. We use the PW Horizons guide, “Who is Jesus, What a Difference a Lens Makes.” Contact Diane Price 754-6906.
PW Afternoon Circle meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm in Fellowship Hall. This year we are discussing the book “The Gift of Years” by Joan Chittister. Contact Charlotte Duncan, 253-0720.
PW Evening Circle meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in different members’ homes, and is also studying “Who is Jesus, What a Difference a Lens Makes.”. Contact Cynthia Evans 845-2723
