An exciting
PW Winter Gathering took place in our Fellowship Hall on January 17, 2009! Our speaker, Kathy Dzubak, owner of Curb Appeal and her assistant Bobbie Brock (previously owner of Four Oaks Garden Center) spoke on spring bulbs and their care.Each person attending received a 14-inch pot, dirt for planting and spring bulbs. The speakers helped make those attending a pot full of bulbs to take home and watch bloom later in the spring. There were also some flowers for shut-ins.
Following our gardening session, we had a soup lunch. And, would you believe, the cost per person was only ten dollars for supplies and lunch!
