The Reopening Task Force has calculated the capacity of the rooms in the Ministry Center to determine whether the rooms can safely accommodate more than the ten people per meeting included in the Roadmap for Reopening. The Task Force then went to the respective rooms in the Ministry Center to set up the rooms to maximize physical distancing in the rooms. Thereafter, the Task Force made the decision to permit the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in that room up to a maximum of 15 attendees. The Task Force made the decision with the proviso that attendees must not change the location where they may sit in the meeting room, since the location of the seats were determined based upon safety protocols. In addition, face masks must be worn at all times in the church and Ministry Center. Meeting attendees should enter via the Narthex door adjacent to the Memorial Garden and must sign the book by the door to note your attendance. Your cooperation with these matters is greatly appreciated.
In order to book a meeting room, please contact the Office Administrator who will assign rooms based upon the room capacity. A room will not be booked more than once per day to allow for maximum sanitization. The host of the meeting is responsible for the sanitization of the room after the meeting; however, this is a simple process. The church has purchased a product that is sprayed on the chairs and tables in the room and that product sanitizes the surfaces that have been touched.
The Task Force continues its work to provide for a safe environment in our c16hurch for everyone with the understanding that everyone must decide for themselves whether to go to the Ministry Center for meetings or whether to attend meetings on a virtual basis.
REMINDER: When entering the church, please enter through the Narthex 16by the Memorial Garden, sign the contact register, and proceed directly to your destination. Face masks are required.
